Full Tilt offer players a dream package to the Aussie Millions

There are many poker professionals heading “down under” in a few months for the Full Tilt Poker sponsored Aussie Millions. The tournament, hosted in Melbourne Australia, is one of the most anticipated poker tournaments of the year and is set to have a record number of poker players participating this year and a guaranteed first place prize of $1 million.

Gus Hanson won last years event that saw 700 players compete for the grand prize. Gus, who is part of Team Full Tilt beat Jimmy Fricke heads up for the $1.5 million dollar (AUD) prize.

This year once again online poker site, Full Tilt Poker is offering its players the chance to qualify for a dream Aussie Millions package. The Full Tilt qualifiers will receive a prize package consisting of a ten night stay at the 5 star Crown Promenade Hotel, round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to Melbourne where you will travel with the whole Full Tilt team including Team Full Tilt and the Full Tilt Pros, plus a number of events while you are in Australia with the whole team from Full Tilt.

There are many different events that take place over the sixteen days the Aussie Millions take place. There is the $100,000 buy-in Hold’em tournament, the Australian 2-card Manila Championship Pot-limit Crazy Pineapple tournament and the Australian Heads-up Championship.

The main event starts January 15th with the final table being played January 20th. Fox Sports will be filming the event for broadcasting at a later date.
